“More than a Wood Boiler”

It isn’t too often that you purchase something from a company and end up with friends as a result, but that is exactly what happened to me when I bought an outdoor wood boiler from Mainly Custom. From patiently answering all of my questions, to walking me through paperwork step-by-step, the customer service that I received (and continue to receive long after the sale) is second to none. My Dealer, Mainly Customs, has been a pleasure to work with. Richard and Mary Lou have always been nice and helpful. Richard is very knowledgeable about a wide range of hydronic heating systems and has been quick to answer any questions that I have had. I bought my boiler from Richard as a Dealer Demo that he used at his local shows to promote his business and products. Richard went above and beyond delivering the boiler, setting it on the pad quickly and accurately. I was up and running within an hour. Richard came out to do some product updates from the manufacturer this past year and had actually been the one to point out to the factory some of the flaws that he saw in the product that needed to be fixed. He is always very involved with the products, not just a receipt for your purchase and a ‘good luck’. I had been doing a lot of shopping around and reading online about outdoor boilers before I bought the Heat Master G-200. I talked to a lot of other vendors about their products and honestly I felt I was still in the dark and not sold fully on purchasing one mainly because I didn’t understand the answers I was getting. I went to the Lancaster Fair in New Hampshire and ran into Mainly customs exhibit and was going to just walk by but I told my wife well let’s try one more time and see what they have to say. I’m glad I did. Richard didn’t only answer my questions he showed me on the model that he had there. Richard was very helpful and explained his models gasification system and how it meets all the regulations and its efficiency of wood. When we left I felt I had a better understanding because of Richard. We kicked it around and I had talked to Richard over e-mail on other questions I had. Richards response was always the same day. We decided to go with the Heat Master G-200 From Mainly Custom. We met with Richard and Mary-Lou at the Fryberg Fair and went over the paperwork and what I needed to do on my end to get ready for install. Again they were awesome. They showed up at my place and the work began. Richard asked that I take the time off work when they do the install so that I will know how my system works inside and out. This way if there was a problem that I could call him and he could walk me through it over the phone. Not many vendors do that. Richard and his employee were great any question that I had they answered no matter how small.  Through the whole install Richard would explain why and how come. Richard is very knowledgeable and gave you both side of issue so you could make an informed decision. Richard was very cost effective and reused anything that he could to keep cost down. How many vendors have you met that do that? They were very efficient and had it up and running. The copper line work to build the manifold was a work of art and when I show the system to people I can tell them how it works. I’m very happy with the G- 200 and even more impressed with the customer service from Mainly Custom.  I’ve had questions on mine this past winter and I e-mailed Mainly Custom and had answers that day.
